Film & Podcast | Sarah Dunning - Taking a position on motorway services
Tebay Services on the M6 has famously been described as the closest a motorway service area comes to Harrods Food Hall. It’s run by the Westmorland Family, who are also behind Gloucester Services on the M5. The current chair is Sarah Dunning, whose parents started the business in 1972 when the motorway was built through their hill farm in Cumbria. We were delighted that Sarah agreed to talk to us as part of the Position Project because the strength of Westmorland’s position has been crucial to their success.
